Get Involved

There’s more than one way to help defeat cancer. Whether you’re a survivor, caregiver, student, or advocate, your involvement can make a lasting difference. At Defeat Cancer, we believe that healing goes beyond medicine—community support, awareness, and shared stories are just as powerful.

Join us in creating a compassionate, informed, and stigma-free future for breast cancer survivors in Pakistan. Explore how you can take part in our mission below.

1. Join Our Research

Take part in the Moving On ABC study, a nationwide research project supporting breast cancer survivors after treatment. Participants receive a free health and well-being screening, and some may be offered personalized therapy and follow-ups to support emotional recovery.

Your involvement will help improve care for countless women across the country. Whether or not you receive therapy, your voice matters and contributes to shaping better survivor services to heal.

2. Volunteer With Us

We welcome volunteers from all walks of life—whether you’re a student, graduate, or professional in psychology, social sciences, or simply someone who cares. Volunteers receive training, hands-on experience, and a chance to be part of a meaningful cause.

From emotional support to event outreach, there are many ways to contribute. Your time, energy, and compassion can help survivors feel seen, heard, and supported.

3. Share Your Story

Sharing your breast cancer journey can break stigma and bring strength to others. If you’re a survivor or caregiver, your experience—whether painful, hopeful, or still unfolding—can offer someone else comfort and courage.

Stories may be featured on our platforms with your consent, and you can remain anonymous if you prefer. Your words could be the reason someone seeks help, feels less alone, or starts to heal.
